Coil Whisks are also known as 'Swedish style' whisks and have a very similar function as flat whisks. The flexible spring wire design can be used to scrape the bottom of shallow pans or whip small batches of light batters, scramble eggs, etc. Avoid mixing anything too thick or anything with chunks (such as onions) as they can get stuck in the coil andbe difficult to clean.
