Peter's Caramel Loaf

Peters caramel is the number one choice for commercially prepared caramel for candy making and dessert recipes. It is solid, yet soft and chewy when bitten.

Uses

  • Dipped Caramel Squares: simply stretch the caramel and cut with scissors. Form into squares and dip in to melted chocolate, or use in a chocolate-lined candy molds.
  • Caramel Pecan Patties (often called Turtles): Possibly the most common use for Peter’s Caramel is making the classic treat of caramel, pecans and chocolate.
  • Caramel Apples: If you want the best caramel for apples, look no further than Peter’s. If the apple is coated only in caramel, the luscious, buttery caramel and softness of Peter’s caramel will flow off the apple. Dipping the caramel-covered apple in chocolate will keep the caramel from sliding off the apple. Or, if a simple caramel apple is desired, melted chocolate can be added to Peter’s caramel before coating the apple in caramel helps keep the caramel from flowing off the apple.
  • Caramel Fondue: For a delicious, quick and easy caramel fondue (great for an apple dip!) melt Peter’s Caramel with a stick of butter and 1 can sweetened condensed milk.

  • So much more!

Tips

If the caramel melts in transit, no worries! It will re-solidify and return to its original consistency. It doesn’t change its working properties or overall quality.
